What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?

I just collected my semen test 12 hrs ago. It stated: morphology normal:60%, abnormal 40%. Fully Active 5% pus cells :many. Slightly active:15% RBC : nil. Dead:80% epithelial cells(+) others nil sperm count: 35.0 *10 6cell/ml(35-200 *10cells/ml) Plz Doc, explain and advice me. Tnx. Philip Nigeria

Hi Philip. Your count is near normal. The problem is the high dead sperm count. This could possibly be due to infection. I suggest you get a Semen culture done. This will clarify whether there is any infection or not. It will also tell what antibiotics you need if there is infection. So if it comes positive then take the antibiotics for atleast two weeks.
Also drink a lot of water and increase your fluid intake. Do let us know if there are any other queries we can help you with.
