What Does This Pregnancy USG Show?

hi my wife age 29yrs Lmp DT: 17.07.2014 USG shows Gravid Utrus shows a single gestational sac CRL measures 1.59 cms corresponds to 8 weeks0 days. the gestational sac is regular. minimal good decidual reaction seen. FETAL CARDIAC ACTIVITY NT SEEN. Yolk sac seen. Cervix appears normal and measures 4.2 cms in lenghth. internal os closed. Right ovary is normal. Corpus luteal cyst seen in left ovary.

Hi, thanks for writing..
The ultrasound doesnot show a good sign. For this gestational age, cardiac activity should have appeared. It is most likely to be a missed abortion. if in doubt you can repeat a scan after 1 week. If cardiac activity doesnot appear, termination is the only option. Hope i have answered your query.
