What Does This Platelet Count Indicate?

I running through high fever from last two days 103-4 not less than 100 fever came first day platlet count was 200000 and second day 176000, taking paracetamol every 4-5 hours n take just two nice tab . Tommrow i m going for dengue test n platlet but now fever again 104 pls suggest I am middle of night

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
High grade fever like what you are having needs a strong suspicion of dengue.
The test will come positive if at all you are infected with dengue after 3rd day following fever. Hence you can get the Dengue antigen and antibody titre tested as you have planned. Your platelet count is within normal, but is showing a decreasing trend.
Platelet count with less than 70,000 and Dengue test positive with or with out bleeding spots needs admission and supportive management.
Otherwise, you can take Paracetamol for fever and drink plenty of fluids. But you need to be cautiously monitored for any hemorrhagic symptoms of dengue and decreased platelet count.
