What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Test Result Indicate?
Hi recently did ultrasound i want to know is everything fine as per below.uterus size 7.1×4.8×3.3 cm. Few nabothian cysts are seen in cervical region and largest one 5mm.9mm subserosal fibroid in anterior wall of uterus. The uterine myometrium shows homogeneous echotexture. No evidence of free fluid in POD.Right ovary 3.9×3.1×2.2cm vol-14.3c.c Left ovary 4×3×1.8 cm vol-11.7cc No obvious adnexal mass lesion is seen.
You have nabothian cysts and fibroid.Nabothian cysts are usually asymptomatic and self controlling. They can be removed by Cauterization if problematic. If it is problematic then can be removed by cauterization. Treatment of fibroid is depend on its severity of symptoms. Generally birth control pill or progesterone pill will help in bleeding caused by fibroid and fibroid itself.
GNRH agonist can be used. Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and pain. So meet gynecologist for proper treatment. Avoid stress, take healthy diet with iron supplements, maintain proper pelvic hygiene and do regular exercise.
Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
