What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Test Result For Bleeding During Urination Indicate?

I am 24 years old and I am 5 2 and weight 96lb. I reently got an unltrasound done and they said I had some fluid in my endocervical canal. i have an Mirena IUD, they told me not to worry but to go back in 6 weeks for another ultrasound because they don t know if its blood or just fluids. Yesterday when I went to the washroom there was blood in my pee and today my bowel had some blood as well. I am wondering if this is something I should be concerned about? Thank you very much!

Hi,

Blood in urine means hematuria, it more likely affect to females, and is due to infection, and kidney problems or injury, there can be damage to urinary tract, in females specially blood in urine can be due to causes in cervix, uterus and vagina, UTI occur when bacteria from the bowl enters the urethra, the tube that carries urine out of the body, infection can travel up-to urethra, ureter, kidney and bladder, there can be pain or pressure in lower back, abdomen or pelvic area.

Stone can be another cause due to deposition of excess mineral in bladder and kidneys, this stone may tear or scratch the lining of urinary bladder and associated organs, there can be frequency of urine and incontinence or involuntary urination, these are due to more salt intake, dehydration, thyroid problems, over weight, for diagnosis pelvic examination, urine analysis, ultrasound, and MRI is to be done, or cystoscopy is needed, you may have pain in lower back, and pelvic area, constipation or diarrhea, painful urination, fever, fowl smelling urination, chills, fatigue, we should drink more water, take alkalizer, and antibiotics.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
