My pelvic ultrasound result states A non bulky and non gravid anteverted uterus with uniform. Myometrial echopattern measuring 47mm in WIDTH AP DIAMETER, The endometrium is thickened, Both adnexae are free of dominant follicles. Mild fluid collection noted in pouch of Douglas. Impression: -thickened endometrium -cyesis -PID
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. The pelvic ultrasound report you have posted suggests the following: 1. Uterus is normal in size, shape and position. It does not show the presence of pregnancy. 2. Uterine muscles also appears to be normal. 3. Structures besides the uterus is also normal and there is no presence of any dominant follicle. 4. Minimal fluid in Pouch of Douglas is also normal. 5. Endometrium (uterine lining on the inner side) is thickened. These findings are suggestive of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). It is a treatable condition which needs a clinical assessment.
