What Does This Liver Test Report Indicate?

I had a liver test done that revealed some scar tissue on my liver. My doctor sent me to see a specialist. He wants me to have a biopsy of the liver but I m hesitant because my aunt died from that procedure. What happens if I decide not to have the biopsy?

Hello,

Scar tissue is called cirrhosis of the liver or it may be secondaries or also useful to rule out primary liver malignancy. If you haven't undergone the procedure, then your choice but it won't be diagnosed next stage of scar tissue they may convert into malignancy. All patients don't develop same complications.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
