What Does This Glucose Test Result Indicate?

Hi, I m 28 weeks pregnant and I went for my glucose test the other day and I got back my results today via email. Glucose came back negative but I saw that there was a trace of Leukocyte Esterase? Also I saw on there that I had high levels of Absolute Neutrophil, Absolute Monocytes, And WBC. My OB clearly isn t concerned because I havent recieved a call back or a call at all. The office said to wait until my next appointment in 2 weeks. But I cant wait Im so impatient because Im concerned Ive never had something like this happen. What does this mean for me and baby?

it would have been better if you had mentioned the exact values of this mentioned parameters. High values indicate acute infection, in pregnancy UTI is common and i predict that might be it.

I am predicting based on the information provided by you, i think your OB is in better position to determine as she have examined you and i suggest if you have any doubt kindly contact your doctor and have word.

With respect to UTI, Drink plenty of water, at least eight 8-ounce glasses a day.Don't ignore the urge to pee. And try to empty your bladder completely when you urinate.After a bowel movement, wipe yourself from front to back to prevent bacteria in the stool from getting near the urethra.Keep your genital area clean with mild soap and water.Drink cranberry juice which has been found to be helpful in studies.
