Hi sir,my echo report L.V :LVH PULMONARY VALVE : NO PAH I.A.S : INTACT I.V.S :INTACT AO: 2.8 LA: 3.0 IDD : 4.4 IDS: 3.4 EF : 60% IMPRESSION : LVH REMAINING ALL NORMAL IN ECHO REPORT... PLZ CLARRIFY ME BY ABOVE PAARTICULARS

The heart is divided into a right and left side . The right and left sides are separated by something called a septum.
Each side has an upper chamber (the atria) and a lower chamber (the ventricle).

The 2 chambers on each side are separated by valves.

LVH stands for left ventricular hypertrophy. This means that the left ventricle is enlarged.
The septums separating the right and left sides are intact and normal and the heart function appears to be ok despite the enlarged left ventricle.
