General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns. you recently had an echocardiogram of your heart. They did find a small amount of fluid around your heart in the pericardial sack. This sounds like very minimal amount is not indicating any disease or problem. This will not affect your baby or you during the pregnancy. But the real question is why did you have the doppler to begin with? Was this an ultrasound of your baby and during the ultrasound they just found this? I recommend that you may want to use our premium service for a more in depth encounter
