Good Evening, Today I had a colonoscopy and these were the findings. Three 3 to 8 mm polyps at the hepatic flexure and in the ascending colon. Resected and retrieved - Diverticulosis in the sigmoid colon. - The examination was otherwise normal on direct and retroflexion views. Biopsies were taken and I will receive the results in the mail. My concerns are that I really don t remember much of what my doctor said afterward, because I was still a little woozy. I just happen to look over my Post Procedure Discharge Instructions and found the above information at the bottom of my paperwork. However; I do recall him saying that they were benign. Is there anything you can add to this. I am glad to know that my lower abdominal pain could have been coming from the polyps. I just thought that the pain was associated with a prior tubal ligation I had last year.
