What Does This Chest X-ray While Having Pneumonia Indicate?

I was hvg fever for 10 days .then addvised chest x-ray which showed ill defined parenchymal opacity. Octor diagnosed as pneumonia.Had antibiotics and fever was alright but after follow up x-ray after 15 days thr is not much improvement in the patch .What does it indicate?

Hi thanks for asking question.

Noted you have consolidation in chest x ray lung and diagnosed as pneumonia.

After complication of antibiotic course patient usually clinically improve but x ray consolidation need time for clearance.

Sometimes consolidation in x ray disappear after one month.

You are clinically improved.so don't worry.
If still fever or cough increasing then repeat chest x ray done.

Avoid smoking like aggravating factors.
