Consolidation means pathological condition in which alveoli filled with pus , blood or cells that lead to opacity in x ray. In tuberculosis along with consolidation cavitary lesion also present in upper lobe. TB can involve hilar node so suscipicion is present. Further study involve sputum acid fast stain and culture.
