Just had cardiac calcium score, I m 71 somewhat overweight and have type 2 diabetes controlled. My total score was 363. Left main artery LMA was 34 the LAD was 281 the LCX was 48 and the RCA was 0. Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The coronary calcium scan tells you how much calcified plaque is in your heart’s arteries. You and your doctor can take the results and decide if you need to make any changes to your medicine or lifestyle. That means you left anterior descending artery have more score means you have high risk to develop coronary artery disease in LAD. Please do regular exercise and eat green leafy vegetables, use anti hypertensive and anti hyperlipidemic drugs. Please consult your Cardiologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
