What Does This Brain Scan Report Indicate?
Our great grandbaby was recently born with meconium aspiration syndrome. She was in NICU for many weeks with pneumonia and was very ill. A neurologist performed a brain scan and said that there is shadowing on her brain scan which could indicate problems as a result of hypoxia. We are waiting to see a second neurologist who has been highly recommended to us, but we must wait several weeks for an appointment. I can t find any information online giving me information on what shadowing on a brain scan might indicate. Can you tell us?
