What Does This Brain CT Scan Test Result After A Head Injury Indicate?
We are looking at a doctors report after a car accident head injury stating lobular mucous retention cysts in the maxillary sinuses Is this normal or should we be concerned about it now that 3 months have past? It also says opacification to the left posterior mastoid tip, probably chronic. Is this a concern? It has become a mental health issue and she wants me to call all the hospitals to fix everything they found, even thinking she has a tumor When it comes down to it she gets very angry about needing drugs... But I don t want to miss anything that might be causing such a severe disturbance. Long history of mental health, and what appear to me to be delusions and pity me no one wants to see me at x-mas attention getting stuff. Almost demonic.
These CT scan findings (lobular mucous retention cysts) are not related to the head trauma.
They are indicative of a chronic sinus infection, not related to head trauma.
For this reason, I recommend consulting with an ENT specialist and discuss possible surgery.
The mental health problems can be triggered by a car accident, but they are not related to these CT scan findings. Consulting with a psychiatrist in order to find the proper treatment options, would be necessary.
