hi

HI,
TSH (THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE ) is secreted from pituitary gland (not from thyroid gland) and acts on thyriod to release the thyroid hormones.in our body their level are maintain by negative feedback mechanism on each other. e.g. if thyriod hormones' level is decreased than required level , TSH level will be increased to stimulate the thyroid to produce more hormones.
same way, when thyroid hormone increases above normal, it will produce inhibition on TSH.(confirm by T3 AND T4 level)
