What Does This Abdomen Ultrasound Report Indicate?
in my ultrasound abdomen result has come as hepatomegaly with grade ii fatty
liver. also report says increase in size 168 mm and show increased echotexture. no focal lesions . kindly tell me whether it is serious. and also tell me its pros and cons. s. srikantam

its suggest Fatty Liver disease.
your also adviced to do following test:
1. Liver function test 2. Viral Serology (HBsAg, HbeAg ,anti HCV)
3. Lipid Profile
you should try to strictly AVOID alcohol and reduce weight (if your obese)
further advice:
advice:
abstinence from "Alcohol and drugs"
- LOW fat diet should be followed
- NO red meat
- vegetables should be ingested daily
- Moreover, less activity should be carried out (no sports).
- use lemon juice (lemonade) once in a day
- walk 30 to 40 minutes everyday.
- or swimming is alternative to walking
- NO sports and NO jogging
-"recheck liver enzymes after 6 to 8 weeks".
