Sir, I have sinusitis problem about 5 years. My age 25(male).In those year doctors said i had allergic rhinositis so, I just take (cetirizine Hydrochloride group drugs). Now my X-ray of PNS-OM view : *frontal & ethmoial sinuses are clear.*Rt.maxillary antrum shows mucosal thickening,no bony involvement is seen.Lt.antrum is clear.*Nasal turbinate’s are hypertrophied with thickened septum, deviated to right.**(Rhino-Rt.maxillary sinusitis e DNS to Rt.). What this report says..?What should I do..?
Good evening. Well you have maxillary sinuses which are congested. Meaning there are lot of secretions accumulated in the sinus. You can take a course of antibiotics and do steam inhalation to release the congestion. As for deviated nasal septum it is present since birth. If it is causing you too many problems , surgery is the only way out
