What Does This Ultrasound Test Result For Uterus Indicate?

Hi I just had an ultrasound done today on my ovaries and uterus there was a small dark spot and the technician said it could be the start of something I informed her that my boyfriend and I were sexually active a week ago and did not use protection she said I should take a pregnancy test and I did but it came back negative could there still be a chance that I could be pregnant?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The urine pregnancy test comes out to be positive 10-14 days after conception.
Thus, you can take up urine pregnancy test 10-14 days after the probable date of conception.
If the urine test comes out to be positive, you need to get an ultrasound of pelvic region.
In case you do not want to continue with the pregnancy, you need to consult your gynecologist for means to terminate the pregnancy.
Early pregnancy can be terminated by medical treatment.
Later pregnancy requires evacuation of the products of conception.
