General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you seem to be suffering from polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD). PCOD is a hormonal disorder common among women of reproductive age causing irregular or prolonged menstrual periods or excess male hormone (androgen) levels. The ovaries develop multiple small collections of fluid (follicles) and fail to regularly release eggs resulting in infertility.

Your doctor has prescribed Deviry-10 (a synthetic form of female hormone progesterone) which will help to regulate ovulation and your period will start about 2-7 days after taking the last tablet.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
