General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the MRI report depicting hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy with areas of infarction suggest intra uterine or peri partum issue through compromised placental blood flow.

Following are best measures for better recovery:
- 100% oxygen by face mask
- Maintain oxygen saturation of SpO2 range of 96-98%
- Check adequacy of systemic circulation and need of supportive intravenous fluid
- Intravenous antibiotics as Ceftriaxone or others

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
