Sir, I have received results of an MRI on my right knee and have a few questions. It appears I have several issues taking place concurrently and am curious what it all means or how it all got this bad. -Grade II injury of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus and intrasubstance myxoid degeneration of the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus. -Grade II degeneration of lateral meniscus Edema along the medial and lateral patellar retinacula and involving distal fibers of vastus medialis muscle. -mild tibiofemoral and patellofemoral joint effusion -soft tissue oedemanoted posteriorly as well retrofemoral-popliteal region -Small popliteal cyst of 14x8mm -Tibiofemoral and patellofemoral joint effusion (listed again) -Sprain of ACL -Periarticular soft tissue swelling Can you help me make sense of this? What Does This MRI Report Indicate?
Hello, The given MRI report suggestive of minor injuries involving your ligament and related structures. It is not that much severe. Consult an orthopaedic and get evaluated.
