What Does This CT Scan Report Specify?

My mom had a CT scan of the brain and the report shows evidence of hypodensive image with10HU in density 14x9mm in diameter in the right temporal region( near the brain stem) with the appearance of chronic ischemic infarct and a sign of atrophy. What does it mean? What medication is good for her?

Hi
I have gone through your CT brain report saying chronic infarct in right temporal lobe.hypodensity of 10 Hu indicate gliosis (scar) .so its chronic infarct means blood supply is cut off to that region..no medications useful for this scar.what ever treatmennt furtheer taking is to prevent new infarcts.first we have to assess risk .go for lipid profile ,4vessel carotid doppler.based on that any lipid lowering drugs needed or not is assesed.otherwise low dose aspirin or clopitab is given to avoid blood clotting.dont warry.go for above investigation ,accordingly it wil be decided.
Thank you
