What Does This CT Scan Report Indicate?

Went to an ENT Doctor few days back as there was some problem in my left ear. After examining, the doctor suggested to go for CT Scan and the report has shown the following observations: * Bilateral maxillary mucosal thickening , obliterating the osteomeatal units (partially on the right) * Bony nasal septal deviation is seen with prominent bony spur Want to know if there is any danger? Also, what is the treatment available? Thank you

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You report says clinically you have sinusitis bilaterally with deviated nasal septum with bone spur means projection. So above diagnosis may can cause repeated sinusitis also possible with headache and nose blocks and bleed. Please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
