What Does This CAT Scan Report Indicate?

I have had 3 fusions, last one 3 years ago where I was fused from c3 to t3. My neurosurgeon just received results from my cat scan which revealed AT C3-C4, there is a diffuse disc-osteophyte complex, causing severe bilateral foraminal stenosis. He has referred me to another specialist as he stated I need surgery which he feels is complicated due to the existing hardware and a spinal cord stimulator. Can you please explain.

C3 C4 disc joint of vertebral column is very important and it is the area where cervical nerve plexes lie having a plethora of nerve complexes.

To remove fusion of joints and decompressing the nerves by surgical intervention is a high end skill and needs best of instruments, skilled neurosurgeons and other equipment. Spinal cord cannot be risked for anything less. Chances of failure are much.

Hope you are dealt well with local doctors. At any point if time in future, if need be, pl. keep option open for Ayurvedic Medicines and Yoga to settle the things if your current trials do not succeed.

Hope for the best. This info will help you.
