What Does Thickened Endometrium In An Ultrasound Report Indicate?

I have an Ultrasound and the result is I gave a thickened endometrium, 3 fibroids two of which are calcified and there is also a polyp. I am post menopsusal and have no symptoms. I have not had a period for about 7 years. Please HELP because I am anxious with all the uncertainty. The 2 options I have are to do nothing or have further investigations. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO FOR THE BEST.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Thickened endometrium and multiple fibroids in post-menopausal age can be managed by hysterectomy or surgical removal of the uterus. You may consult your gynaecologist for discussion about hysterectomy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
