What Does Thick Endometrium With Irregularities Mean?
Hi my name is Jamie an just got my report from lime radiology Ultrasound pelvis Clinical history:Previous hypoechoic area in the right ovary.Findings: Comparison is made with previous ultrasound dadted 04/08/2014.The ulerus is retroverted and is unremarkable. No focal lesion is seen within the uterus on today s examination. There is a IUD in situ Whitchurch is in good position. The andometrium is slightly thik at about 9mm and also appears slightly irregular as before. The ovaries have a normal appearance with multiple small follicles being present. No mass/hypoechoic area is seen within the right ovary on today s examination. Small amount of pelvis fluid is physiological. So what does that mean and is it good or bad. Thanks
Latest report is absolutely normal. It is good that hypoechoic area in right ovary is not visualized in present study. Uterus is normal in size and echotexture. Endometrial thickness is also normal. Its thickness varies with the stage of menstrual cycle. Ovaries are also normal.Small follicles are normally seen in ovaries. Small amount of fluid in pelvis is normally seen during ovulation. So,your findings are good.
