What Does Thick Endometrial Uterus Wall In The Report Indicate?
I have a anteverted uterus measures 7.0x2.2x4.2cm. Endometrial stripe thickness measures up to 2mm. There is abnormal mixed echogenicity in the expected location of the left adnexa measuring 1.6x1.3x1.5 with some shadowing and thick and irregular septation. I am sixty years old. what do you recommend
1.Anteverted uterus is anterior tilt of the uterus in relation to the bladder - which is one of the normal variations of the uterine lie. 2.Endometrial thickness of 2mm in your age is normal. 3.The abnormal mixed echo texture in left adnexa could be of ovarian pathology. 4.Also gives features of complex cystic features - malignancy should be ruled out. 5.An FNAC - fine needle aspiration cytology of the lesion if possible to assess the nature of cells involving. 6.MRI pelvis will give better anatomical delineation and find out the source of the lesion - then one can act accordingly.
Good luck. Hope i have answered your query, any thing to ask ? do not hesitate to ask. http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-ganesh/62888
