What Does The Report Regarding Tuberculosis Indicate?

hi sir my sister is getting sick once in every month. i took out her medical reports now this report saying tht ( TUBERCULOSIS ELISA IGM - 1.71 ) AND TUBERCULOSIS ELISA-IGA IS =159 AND TUBERCLOSIS ELISA -IGG =63.9 ) PLEASE CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT ?

you have not mentioned the reference range for each of the ELISA. ELISA is usuall y carried out for the detection of antigen or antibody in our body. here it is used to detect antibody. I want to add to your report that WHO had declared that the results for immunoglobulin testing is not valid for the tuberculosis. because in country like india it is very common that you come accross the tuberculosis bacilli. and you develop the antibody. so if you concern about tuberculosis. in my advice you should go for rapid result giving tests like gene xpert, mycobacterial MGIT test. this are good tests and give good results.
