Hello and welcome to HCM, The interpretation of Pap test report is as follows: There is presence of cocco-bacilli on Pap smear. In health, bacilli or lactobacilli are present on Pap test. Whenever there is change in pH balance in the vaginal environment, the lactobacilli are replaced by cocco-bacilli. The change in pH is due to infection in the vaginal tract. A course of antibiotic is required to clear the infection. Antibiotic course will correct the pH of the vaginal flora. Consult your gynecologist for further management.
