What Does The Following Vaginal Ultrasound Report Suggest?

Hi I had trans vaginal ultrasound two weeks ago. It says here that I have a retroverted uterus. Thin and intact endometrium with mixed echoes, normal sized both ovaries with polys cystic features. Cul-de-sac has no free fluid. Is it possible that I will have difficulty getting pregnant? Thanks in advance for the answer

Hello, Thanks for the query.
The USG report says that your uterus is tilted back wards. That is not a problem at all. It corrects itself once conception occurs. Presence of polycystic ovaries means you have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). It may not cause any difficulty in getting pregnant but during pregnancy you have to be very careful as certain problems like increased BP or / and gestational diabetes etc can be associated with it. So a close association with your obstetrician should be there. If you are over weight, then try and reduce weight that will help better. Thanks.
