What Does The Following Transvaginal Ultrasound Report Suggest?

US PELVIC AND TRANSVAGINAL (#0000, Final, 11/18/2016 9:19am) Comments: Order Number: AC0000 Longitudinal and transverse imaging of the pelvis was obtained transabdominally and transvaginally. FINDINGS: The uterus measures 8.6 cm in length by 5 cm in depth by 5.4 cm in width. The endometrial thickness is 5 mm. The myometrial echotexture is heterogeneous however there were no discrete fibroids seen. Multiple nabothian cysts are identified at the level of the cervix. A small amount of pelvic fluid is identified. The right ovary is visualized. It is normal in size with no mass. The left ovary is visualized. It contains follicles. There is also a a finding being measured in the left ovary that is virtually isoechoic to the parenchyma. The etiology is not certain and I cannot reliably characterize this finding on this study. There may be some internal flow. This measures 1.5 cm in size. IMPRESSION: Heterogeneous uterus with no discrete fibroids seen. The differential diagnosis includes adenomyosis. Multiple nabothian cysts at the level of the cervix. No endometrial thickening detected. Finding in the left ovary as above measuring 1.5 cm in size. Unless other assessment is desired clinically, a followup ultrasound after 2-3 menstrual cycles would be suggested to be obtained to check for its resolution. Small amount of pelvic fluid.
