General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
The raised liver enzymes (ALT and GGT) are suggestive of liver injury due to diseases of the liver, gallbladder or pancreas. It can also be due to alcoholism.

Had I been your treating physician I would have advised an abdominal ultrasound scan to rule out the liver, gallbladder or pancreas problems.

You need to have certain lifestyle changes to reduce the levels of your liver enzymes like:
1. Avoid smoking and alcohol (if you are used to).
2. Avoid fatty meal, spicy foods, etc.
3. Take home cooked foods, increase the intake of fruits, vegetables and drinking water.
4. You may take Vitamin E containing supplements to hasten the recovery.

Kindly repeat the LFTs after 4-6 weeks to check the response.
Hope these answer your query.
A feed back is appreciated.
