What Does The Following Follicular Study Report Suggest?

Hi.. my follicular study is on. Today is my 12th day after my last lmp. My right ovary shows dominant follicle 21x16mm, 14x11mm. I am planning for IUI. When will it be done? How will doctor know when is egg going to release? As doctor has called me day on 14th day for one more sonography of follicle. When asked when she will do IUI she said after 4-5 days. Released egg stays for 24hrs only in fallopian tube? But 14th day is actually the mid day? As per my knowledge once the follicle is 20mm it starts releasing the egg. In previous ovulation study doctor gave me hucog inj on 13th day itself. I am confused.. is the treatment going right? Pls reply

Hi I think the follicle on right side is of mean size of 18.5 mm. So, after 2 days, it will be around 20 mm.Injection should be given the same day and IUI should be done next day.Generally injection is given when follicle reaches a size of 18 to 20 mm. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Injection can be given now also. Hope it helps.
