What Does The Following Chest X-ray Report Indicate?

I m applying for a job and my medical exam..chest xray particularly, says that i have PTB fibronodular in the left apex. I m not sure what does that mean and is it a ground to not getting the job? I never had history of serious coughs in the past two years if I remember it right. What can I do to cure it or to make sure I don t jeopardize the health of my family as well? Need prompt answers..thank you very much!

PTB fibronodular in the left apex means lung tuberculosis of upper most area of left sided upper lobe of lung (left lung has two lobes). If it is a small area of lung is involved then you need not to worry because it may be a small healed past lesion. Again it may not be a tuberculosis also.A sputum test for tuberculosis can be done to rule out it. If you are physically fit and no breathing issue then there is no ground that they can can refuse the job to you.
