Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hi,

The blood report shows the presence of macrocytes and ovalocytes. Presence of macrocytes and ovalocytes on peripheral blood smears suggests vitamin B12 and/or folic acid deficiency.

I suggest you get vitamin B12 and folic acid assay.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri,
Pathologist and Microbiologist
