Thanks for your quetion on HCM. Vacuolar interface dermatitis can be seen in SLE (lupus) and dermatomyocitis. Both are connective tissue disease. Better to get done full ANA profile. If antids DNAand antism antibodies are present than chances of SLE are more. And if they are absent chances of dermatomyocitis are more. More over clinical features like small joint pain, butterfly rash on face etc are favouring SLE more. So I think you should discuss about full ANA profile with your rheumatologist.
