Are Innumerable Disseminated Soft Tissue Pulmonary Nodules Highly Suspicious For Metastatic Disease A Serious Concern?
A report I ve received today states innumerable new disseminated round soft tissue pulmonary nodules which are highly suspicious for metastatic disease. The largest nodule is within the posterior basal right lower lobe measures 22 mm. What does all this mean? Please help.
Lung has high blood supply so it is common site for spread of tumor. So, primary malignant foci if present anywhere in body, then has to be searched for.
If needed CT guided biopsy can be taken from largest lesion to classify tumour. Provide your reports as attachment for giving more comment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
