What Does The Bladder Biopsy Report Indicate?

I had a biopsy of bladder done on April 10; my urologist told me that he had to clear the prostate invasion off the bladder gate and that the result of biopsy was negative for carcinoma in situ which was found in 2013. I had to take 5 to 6 prescriptions of antibiotic to control UTI. However burning sensation while urinating is not over yet and I had to start back on phenazopyridine. What do you think is wrong and what would you recommend?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello welcome to HCM. the growth of prostate what is seen was confirmed as benign (normal) growth and not carcinoma. The prostate envelopes the bladder gate. As the growth of prostate increases it presses the bladder gate. So the urine flow will be hindered. so more prone for UTI and will experience burning sensation, not completely pass the urine and so. So the extra tissue of the prostate has to be removed. I hope i cleared your doubt. Take care. Good health.
