Hello,

Semen Analysis for infertility--

I have had my semen test done and i would like to know what does it mean for me in reguards for me have a child..
My result were as follows

Percentage of motile spermatozoa and morphologically normal spermatozoa are all equal to or above the lower reference limits..

Does it mean that i cannot have any kids or will it just take longer to have kids?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of semen analysis is as follows:
The normal range for any investigation lies between the upper and lower reference range.
All values between these two extremes is considered normal.
You have mentioned the percentage of motile and morphological normal sperms.
The lower limit for fast forward movement and morphological normal sperms is 50%.
For complete analysis of semen, other parameters like semen volume, sperm concentration are also required besides motility and morphology.
Kindly post these parameters also to know whether you will be able to bear children or not.
