What Does The ASO Test Indicate?

hi,i1m 20 year old girl.my ASO test is positive about 400 dilution b4 1 week .wat does it show?i dont have any joint pain or any other disease when i hav done that test. b4 2-3 weeks i had a pain on my knee, but it was gone after 2-3 days without taking any medicine. is there any problem with me?

Hi thanks for asking question.
Here you have high ASO titre and then after 3 week knee pain.
So you might have sore throat infection with streptococci and then after 3 week you have arthralgia.
Because you have high ASO titre you should take antibiotic for that.If infection not controlled and if you have poor hygenic condition or low immunity then chances of rheumatic carditis are there.
So just now it is better for you to do your ECG and CRP level to rule out cardiac involvement.Take antibiotic to treat condition.
