What Does Tachycardia With Inferior Infarct Mean?

I recently was in the ED with a severe flare-up of my costochondritis and panic attack due to not being able to breathe because it was painful. I looked at my ecg and it said tachycardia with inferior infarct -The physician said I was too tachycardic to tell if I had a heart attack. What would that dx mean?

Hi welcome to HCM
i understand your concern.Tachycardia with inferior infarct means blocks in the vessels supplying inferior wall of heart. Its inferior wall MI.You need an emergency coronary angiogram to know the exact location of block followed by Stenting with drug eluting stent.Drugs like Anti platelets, anti hypertensives,IV fluids will be helpful.Drugs like beta blockers will specifically help to reduce the heart rate.Consult your cardiologist for expert management.Post your further queries if any.
Thankyou
