What Does Swollen Tonsil With Inflamed Nasal Passage Suggest?
hi I am a 57 year old male with a swollen red tonsil on my right side. It has no white, yellow or pus on it, I do not have a sore throat, but the nasal passage in my mouth looks to be inflamed as well. Only other symptoms are a severe case of hives when I work out and also have seasonal allergies. So what s on my tonsil?
You may be suffering from follicular tonsilitis. It may be due to a infection by virus or bacteria. Inflammation of nasal passages may be due to rhinitis. It may be due to viral infection or allergy. Are you a diabetic? Are you a hypertensive? Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
