What Does Swollen And Red Bump On Pelvic Region Indicate?

im a 13 year old girl and i have one bump (raised) on my pelvic region (where the girls pubic hair is)that is swollen and red and sore and when you squeeze it it feels like theirs a rock under the skin and im not sexually active at all.. what could it be

Hi,

It seems to be infected hair root (mostly after shaving). Anti-inflammatory drug over the counter can help. Hot mops to foment would accelerate healing. In case of no relief, consult your doctor for antibiotic prescription.
