Hello,

The swollen and painful area inside the upper lip can be due to canker sore or ulcer formation inside the upper lip. It can also be due to lip biting, infection, traumatic injury etcetera.

The however painful area inside the vagina can be related or unrelated to the oral problem and can be due to infection or allergy. So once consult a gynecologist and get evaluated and a vaginal swab culture can be done for ruling out the cause and treated accordingly.

For now, you should maintain good genital hygiene, wear cotton underwear and loose and airy clothes. For the swollen area inside the upper inner lip, you can apply Xylocaine gel over it and if needed a steroid oral paste can be applied. Do ice packs over it. Take vitamin B complex supplements.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
