Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your query, you have symptoms of swelling on the lips which seems to be due to accumulation of fluid under the surface of lips leading to angioedema and it could be due to allergic reaction as well.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cold compresses. Do not bite or suck the lips with teeth. You should visit dermatologist once and get complete examination done. A short course of steroids like cortisone along with application of calamine lotion over the lips could improve your symptoms.

If it is due to allergic reaction then immunotherapy is advisable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
