What Does Swelling On The Forehead After A Head Injury Indicate?

I recently had a head injury and a ct scan. The CT scan was normal. 3 days later I woke up to a swollen forehead. After icing it went down. the next day I woke up to bruising around my eyes. First my eye lids then the bottom of my eye and even on my forehead where I didn t hit my head.

Hello,

As your CT scan is normal, It's not much worrisome. The skin over the scalp and forehead is loose. Hence, the superficial blood or edema can spread to dependent areas. For example, when a boxer gets hit on the side of his head, he can still wind up with raccoon eyes or periorbital hematoma. If you have blurring of vision, intense headaches or vomiting, do visit your nearest hospital.
