What Does Swelling In The Lower Legs Indicate?

I am a African American Male age 55 . WHO HAS HADpossibly 3 STROKES ( stroke IN LATE 90 S PROBABLY 98 ) (one 2012 ) (2017) {OCCASIONAL druill } I drink EVERYDAY don t have shakes having difficulty walking lower legs left is 2x swollen brown toe nail bout a year SHINNY skin

Hello,

 Stroke patients more prone to lower limb edema common causes are
1. Deep venous thrombosis
2. Cellulitis
3. Cardiac or renal failure.
4. Neurogenic paralyzed limb edema
5. Dependent edema.
Please consult your physician and get investigate for kidney and cardiac function. Get limb Doppler scan and get treated accordingly.
