Hello,

Swelling in lips seems to be due to accumulation of fluid on under surface of lips and it could be due to allergic reaction as well.

I would suggest you to visit dermatologist once and get complete examination done. Do not bite or suck the lips with teeth.

A short course of steroids like cortisone along with application of calamine lotion over the lips could improve your symptoms. You should apply cold compresses. If it is due to allergic reaction, immunotherapy is advisable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
